What is Reiki?  ("Energy Therapy")

Reiki (pronounced "ray-key") also known as "Energy Therapy" or "Vibrational Medicine" is an ancient healing system that involves transmitting healing energy through the hands.  It is performed by placing the hands in a series of hand positions over the body of the person receiving the treatment and is known to clear energy blockages in the body.  Reiki can also be performed on pets, plants, products, and more.  In order to learn how to channel the energy, a student receives three degrees of training and attunements (a form of initiation) from a Reiki Master/Teacher.

In the very recent past, Reiki instruction was very exclusive and expensive ($10,000 for the Master Program).  Thanks to people like Diane Stein, a leading voice in the Reiki field and the author of "Essential Reiki" (the textbook that is included in our Reiki Integration Workshops), some Reiki classes are now reasonably priced.  We at Reiki The Way refer to this affordable modern Reiki as  "Essential Reiki."  In much the same way that alternative therapies were once the traditional therapies, Essential Reiki is the latest evolutionary step in the age-old Reiki tradition.

Reiki Integration Workshops

Our workshops are divided into four levels within three degrees, Reiki I, Reiki II, Reiki III-Practitioner, and Reiki III-Master ("Master Program").  You will learn how to access an ancient healing art through your hands, how to work on yourself as well as others, how to integrate Reiki into your daily life, and if you choose to complete the Master Program, you will learn how to teach Reiki.  Please ask about the Reiki the Way Scholarship Program.
